Firefighting Hose Nozzles
Fire nozzles are used to form and direct the water jet towards the fire or some other object. Fire nozzles can deliver full jet, spray jet and water mist. You can also get sub-forms of the jets on the nozzles, the protective jet and the combined jet.
The advantage of a full jet of water is the long range and the great force of the jet of water on obstacles, and the disadvantage is the low utilization of water at extinguishing. The sprayed jet has a shorter range, but a significantly higher utilization of water when extinguishing. In this case, the force of the water jet on the obstacles is smaller.
Water mist has a small jet range, high utilization of water during extinguishing and negligible impact of the jet on obstacles. The protective jet does not serve to extinguish the fire, but rather protects the firefighter from radiant heat or thermal radiation.
Firefighting water nozzles differ in design, shape and output speed of the jet, as well as purpose. We divide firefighting water nozzles into:
- ordinary nozzles
- nozzles with bolt for closing (nozzle with bolt, nozzle with bolt and sprayer, nozzle with bolt and universal head)
- universal nozzles (classic universal nozzle, "turbo" nozzles)
- special nozzles (gun nozzles, spray nozzles, monsoon nozzles, depth nozzles, water shield, duct cleaner, flexible nozzles and throwers (nozzle monitor)
