Hydraulic ventilators

The LEADER hydraulic fans can be used when the operational constraints require them. Their design guarantees excellent performance thanks to the combination of the latest technological developments by LEADER.
 
Powered by a hydraulic motor, they offer a flow of around 50,000 m3/h. The hydraulic motor has a DSP 65 connection with a regulation valve and shut-off valve as well as a pressure meter. At 10 bars, the motor consumes around 620 l/min and can also power an integrated mister.

The two water-based fan models each use LEADER technologies. 

• The EASY POW’AIR for the first, a technology which reinforces the air drive effect of turbo fans. 
• For the second, the hydraulic fan has NEO technology.  This optimal combination of a highly resistant propeller and a composite material high-tech grille surrounded by a reinforced mono-block frame can offer unrivalled performance. 

The frame, equipped with two wide wheels to move the fan on soft ground, has an automatic tilting system, which guarantees it is always in the correct position! These features allow the firefighting hydraulic fan to be positioned at an ideal distance between 2 and 6 m from the opening, whilst conserving optimum performance. 

These firefighting fans can be equipped with several fans accessories such as a spiral duct, a high expansion foam adapter, etc. If these water-based fans needed to be used in cellars or car parks, it is possible to attach them to an accessory to allow a negative fan tilt (stand).

Atex ventilators

To meet the need for mobile ventilation in at-risk industries, LEADER has designed ATEX fans for use in explosive atmospheres which have the most requested features and meet standards set by the ATEX 94/9/EU directive and the EN 14986-2007 standard, specifically dedicated to fans. The latter is vital and a certificate must be issued with each device sold. This directive covers electrical and mechanical equipment intended to be used in potentially explosive atmospheres in the European Union and applies to all manufacturers worldwide. 

THE ENTIRE DEVICE MUST BE ATEX CERTIFIED 
A single ATEX certified element like a motor is not enough for certification. The entire ATEX fan must be ATEX certified. The LEADER ATEX fans are tested for the standards set out in the ATEX directive. Their certification covers the entire unit: the motor, the frame, the grille, the propeller, the electronic box with its power cable, wheels, etc. 

ATEX FANS FOR VARIOUS MOBILE VENTILATION APPLICATIONS IN INDUSTRY 
ATEX electric fans can be used for various mobile ventilation applications in industry such as pressurising a room to make it safe, removal of toxic smoke, cooling an overheated machine, removing smoke, explosive or toxic gas, etc. LEADER ATEX fans can be used for blowing (supplying fresh air) or suction (removing polluted air, toxic gas, chemical fumes or tank venting).
