AUTONOMOUS BATTERY FANS FOR MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY!

Thanks to battery-powered fans, it is no longer necessary to look for an electrical outlet or a generator for your smoke removal / smoke extraction operations. Indeed, completely autonomous, they don’t need an external energy source (electricity, fuel) and therefore avoid the installation of long lengths of cables. They can thus be installed very quickly as close as possible to the fire.

Usable anywhere, LEADER battery-operated fans allow rapid ventilation in complete autonomy with maximum flexibility for a minimum of 50 minutes for the BATFAN 3 Li + and up to 70 minutes for the E-FAN! LEADER portable ventilators have the longest autonomy on the market! LEADER battery fans are also partly equipped with a mains power supply allowing them to be connected to the electrical network without interrupting the operation of the device for longer interventions.

SWAPPABLE LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES TO REMAIN UNPLUGGED!

Guaranteed longer battery life, while eliminating the memory effect and the problem of discharging when not in use, LITHIUM-ION batteries are reliable, have an excellent lifespan and recharge quickly.

The BATFAN 3 Li + and E-FAN battery fans are equipped with removable/swappable batteries that allow to extend the autonomy of the fire ventilator by replacing the batteries in few seconds and without tools! Indeed, the battery included in the chassis can be replaced very easily in a few seconds offering 50 min of additional autonomy for the BATFAN 3 Li + (so 1h40 of autonomy in total with two batteries) and 70 min of additional autonomy for the E-FAN (thus 2h20 of autonomy in total with two batteries).

The batteries of our fire ventilators are fitted with a specific system to ensure the correct connection of the battery without having a rigid pin. An articulated and magnetic connection ensures a perfect interface between the battery and the firefighting ventilator without any risk of damage. The high quality multi-pin connectors of the batteries allow one by the passage of the power but also the management of the NTCs (temperature probes) arranged in the battery pack.

COMPACT AND LIGHTWEIGHT FOR OPTIMAL HANDLING!

Lightweight, LEADER battery-operated fans have been designed to be easily moved by a single firefighter (less than 25 kg). BATFAN portable ventilators can be fitted with a carrying harness (“front” or “back carrying” type backpack) to facilitate movement, distribute the load evenly and protect users' backs. LEADER battery-powered fans can thus be quickly and easily transported and installed by a single person as close as possible to the fire at the entrance to the volume to be ventilated.

Very compact, they are easily stored in the trunk of a fire engine. In addition, two BATFANs have a footprint equivalent to a traditional fan. It is therefore possible to take two BATFAN portable fans in a fire truck. LEADER battery-powered fans are the most compact and lightweight firefighting fans/ventilators in their categories!

ZERO MAINTENANCE!

LEADER battery-powered fans require very little maintenance due to the very robust design and the materials used. In fact, the battery-powered electric fan does not require, by definition, any oil change, does not include a timing belt, filters, spark plugs, mufflers, etc.

VERSATILE / MULTIFUNCTIONAL: LEADER BATTERY FANS ARE MORE THAN JUST FANS!

Thanks to the many accessories available (ducts, foam adapter, fog system, etc.), LEADER battery-powered firefighting fans can be used:

• in Positive Pressure Ventilation alone (PPV) or combined with other firefighting fans,
• in blowing or in extraction thanks to ducts,
• as a generator of high expansion foam (thanks to the foam adapter) to fight against fires located:
• in underground installations: cellars, basements, confined spaces, etc.
• in installations accessible through the roof in order to spread the foam in halls or foyers such as a medium-growth foam generator.
• or as a mister (thanks to the mist system) in order to:
• cool the atmosphere and the smokes,
• or to facilitate the recovery of workers.

The BATFAN fire ventilator can also be used horizontally, air stream downwards, for positive ventilation of underground pipes or tanks.

POWERFUL FLOWRATES (AMCA 240 CERTIFIED) AND CONSTANT THROUGHOUT THE INTERVENTION!

Portable battery fans are generally used as "Relay / Auxiliary" fans to support a so-called "Master / Main" fan.
However, LEADER battery fans are powerful enough to be used as a "Master" fan when ventilating small volumes such as a pavilion or apartment.

In addition, they offer a constant flowrate at full power throughout the operation without a drop in speed for optimal smoke extraction in complete safety!

The BATFAN 2 portable firefighting fan offers a constant AMCA flow rate of 17,700 m3 / h (and 28,050 m3 / h in the open air) for 45 min with its integrated battery,

The BATFAN 3 Li + battery powered fan produces a constant AMCA flow rate of 18,600 m3 / h (and 29,270 m3 / h in the open air) for 50 min with one battery, 1h40 with two batteries, 2h30 with 3 batteries, etc.

The E-FAN battery blower generates a flow rate of 18,700 m3 / h (35,050 m3 / h in the open air) for 70 min with a single battery, 2h20 with 2 batteries, 3h30 with 3 batteries, etc.  

Finally, the battery-powered fans in the BATFAN range are all equipped with NEO technology (an optimal GRILLE – PROPELLER - SHROUD combination creating an oval jet in order to introduce a maximum of air into the building) allowing to the LEADER fans get up to 20% greater flowrate for unrivalled power in their category!

The flow rates of our firefighting fans are AMCA 240 certified by official independent laboratories.
