Handover of a new fire tank pumper vehicle for the Korčula Volunteer Fire Department.
On Friday, February 7th, we handed over a tank pumper MAGIRUS HLF 1 to our friends and business partners, the Korčula Fire Department, on an Iveco Daily 70C18 chassis, with a 170 HP engine.
The vehicle includes a Magirus team cabin with 2+4 seats, integrated breathing apparatus holders in the seats, a supporting tower with radio chargers, lamps, a thermal camera, and space for storing small equipment and tools.
All Magirus Lohr vehicles are part of the line of fire trucks under the common name "Adriatic Line", and their upgrades are performed in Croatia. The complete upgrade of this vehicle was performed in Croatia in cooperation with our partner company Firetec and their experts, whom we would like to thank for another successfully completed project.
There are double tanks for equipment and tools on each side of the vehicle. The vehicle has a 1020 liter water tank installed. and a Magirus FPN 1000/10 medium-pressure pump, with a DN38 fast-action emergency winch with 60 m of hose and Turbo nozzle.
On the roof there is a large aluminum box for transporting additional equipment for interventions, an aluminum folding fire ladder and a retractable spotlight with a function of rotating the mast and changing the spotlight angles. This model of a small emergency vehicle is extremely practical and agile, and is therefore suitable for all environments and situations (urban or rural areas).
We would like to thank the firefighters of the Korčula Volunteer Fire Department for their trust, and we wish them that this vehicle will serve them successfully for many years.
